Among
Franklin Doolittle's early accomplishments was the development
of binaural broadcasting, a system involving two microphones,
two transmitters and two receivers at the listening location.
It was the forerunner of what became known as stereophonic
broadcasting. This article by Doolittle himself was published
in Broadcasting Telecasting magazine in 1952.
