What's on the
radio tonight? On December 6 & 7, 1928, this is what New Haven
radio station WDRC (226 meters) offered. These schedules
appeared in the New Haven Register newspaper (courtesy of
John Doolittle).
John's father,
Franklin Malcolm Doolittle,
put WPAJ on the air on December 10, 1922. On February 21,
1926 the call letters were changed to WDRC (Doolittle
Radio Corporation). Programs began originating from
brand new studios at 11 Asylum Street in Hartford on December 5,
