the ownership of Tele-Broadcasters of Connecticut,
Inc., WPOP general manager Phil Zoppi worked
hard to
maintain the station's presence on the national
front. To secure its share of national advertising
dollars, Zoppi
bought a series of ads in broadcast trade
publications like Broadcasting magazine.
