In May 2006 former WPOP engineer Neil Fitzgerald provided these photos of the transmitter building on Cedar Street in Newington.

Neil worked there from April 1956 to October 1958 and October 1962 through March 1964 on either side of a stint in the U.S. Coast Guard.

In those days the studios were located on Asylum Street in Hartford.
